I walk down the tarmac as the trees around me shed their leaves, I breathe out and watch it form clouds infront of my face, white, as it floats away. I take a sharp right and the leaves crunch under my shoe. I stop abruptly and look down, this is what I walked here for, “I’m sorry I couldn’t be better” I whisper down to the headstone.
The man walks quickly down the hill, his breaths slips out forming clouds in front of his face, he listens to his feet as he hurries to his destination. He turns towards his right onto the frozen leaves into the cemetery, he looks down towards a headstone and whispers apologies.
